Stone’s Throw Productions is helmed by Randall Etheredge and Kelly Allen, a dynamic power duo known for their work at New York City’s Lincoln Center and beyond.
Randall, our Executive Director, began his journey in 1978 after landing a gig in New York theater. His next taste of the industry was thanks to a friend, who hired him to be the assistant stage manager, master electrician, master carpenter and prop master of a play by John Ford Noonan at the 3 Muses Theater. He was paid (with great fanfare) two subway tokens per day — a blessing, seeing as he had no idea what he was doing. The ensuing 46 years have been spent relentlessly striving to be better.
As he’s grown into a highly sought after professional, his philosophy is: knowing what you’re doing is important, but not nearly as important as surrounding yourself with a group of talented people who are just as dedicated to being better, loving what they do, knowing when to laugh and knowing when to knuckle down… with measurable results, of course.
With a rich background in orchestrating seamless productions, Kelly moves behind the scenes ensuring every event unfolds with detailed precision. Her strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch services make her a key player in the success of events. We know you’ll feel her passion for excellence shine brightly in the vibrant atmosphere at Stone's Throw Productions. Some of her favorite projects include Lincoln Center Out of Doors and Midsummer Night Swing, as well as advancing, running and managing Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway stage shows, and international tours.
